Hello Hello!

First let me start by saying this was my mother’s idea. And of course, like all motherly advice, I ignored it and thought of a hundred reasons not to do it before I realized that mother knows best and I might as well. So I created a blog. After all, I’m not doing anything else with my time right now.

Well, that’s not completely true. I am unemployed, but that in no way translates into 100% free time. My days are filled with job hunting, job applying, resume updating, cover letter tweaking, Savannah exploring, movie watching, Modern Warfare playing, cat sitting, cleaning, cooking, Youtube watching, and of course, napping. And before I know it, it’s tomorrow and I get to do it all over again.

But seriously, besides my half-assed attempt at sticking to the P90X workout routine, there is nothing else I feel like I have to do on a daily basis. This blog will supply me with daily tasks and since I can’t just type about watching instant netflixs, blogging will also force me to go out and do something worth mentioning.

So here it is. A fascinating look into the adventures of unemployment. And hopefully, an employment opportunity will come along soon and the title of the blog can change into “One woman’s transformation into a bitter, cynical, but optimistic social worker”. I can’t wait!
